Over the past year, in coordination with the Federal Transit Administration, Sound Transit has worked with partner agencies, local stakeholders and the public to consider and further refine route and station alternatives. The alternatives development process for this project consists of two evaluation phases, where the most promising alternatives at each level have been carried forward to be studied in greater detail based on technical analysis, community feedback, and recommendations from the Elected Leadership Group.
For your review and comment, the information below illustrates all route and station alternatives and summarizes the findings of the second technical evaluation phase and is provided to help compare light rail segment alternatives to each other. No decisions have been made yet about which alternatives will continue forward into the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (EIS). We want to hear from you!
